10. AI-Assisted Communications, Project Inquiries, and Customer Authorization
This section supplements Sections 1 through 9 of this Website Privacy and Consent Policy and our existing Messaging Terms and Privacy Policy. It does not replace or diminish existing privacy protections, data-sharing restrictions, customer rights, or opt-out instructions.
- How We Respond to Customer Requests. When you request an estimate, submit project information, ask for an appointment, request a callback, or contact CS1 Real Interiors Inc. (“CS1”) through our website, Google or other advertising, a third-party service marketplace (such as Angi or Thumbtack), telephone, SMS, email, or another authorized channel, CS1 may use your contact and project information to respond about that specific inquiry and related services. Depending on your request and applicable permissions, communications may involve calls, texts, emails, appointment confirmations, requests for project photos or measurements, estimate updates, and project-specific follow-ups.
- Human Representatives and AI Assistants. Communications may be handled by CS1 personnel or by technology and service providers working on CS1’s behalf, including AI-powered conversational assistants such as Giulia, automated workflow systems, scheduling tools, and customer relationship management systems. Where legally permitted and appropriately authorized, these technologies may generate spoken responses using an artificial or AI-generated voice, send messages, collect project details, coordinate appointments, and route requests to CS1 staff. An AI voice assistant will identify itself as an AI assistant at the beginning of its conversation.
- AI-Generated Voice and Automated Calling Authorization. AI-generated or artificial-voice calls and any automated or prerecorded calls are made only where CS1 has an appropriate legal basis and the consent required for the type and purpose of call. For calls that require prior express written consent, CS1 seeks a clear, affirmative authorization identifying CS1 as the calling business and the telephone number provided by the customer. Such consent is not a condition of receiving an estimate, purchasing services, or otherwise doing business with CS1. Merely visiting this website or reading this policy does not, by itself, constitute any additional consent required by law for artificial-voice telemarketing calls.
- Third-Party Lead and Marketplace Requests. CS1 may receive a customer’s information and project request from lead-generation providers, advertising platforms, and service marketplaces, including Angi and Thumbtack, as already described in this Policy. We use that information for the project inquiry and related communications consistent with the customer’s authorization, the applicable provider’s terms, and applicable law. Where a provider has lawfully obtained consent that covers communications made by or on behalf of CS1, CS1 may rely on that authorization to the extent it is legally sufficient. This Policy does not expand, override, or retroactively create consent that was not given through that provider.
- Project-Specific Communications Versus Promotional Marketing. Responding to a requested estimate, arranging a site visit, requesting project information, or giving an appointment update is different from sending unrelated advertising or ongoing promotional campaigns. CS1 maintains any legally required separate permission for promotional texts and artificial-voice or automated telemarketing communications. Our existing Messaging Terms, including message and data rate notices and promotional-message frequency disclosures, continue to apply to the corresponding subscribed messaging service.
- Information Processed by AI and Service Providers. For the purposes described above, authorized systems and service providers acting for CS1 may process contact details, the source of an inquiry, project addresses, scope of work, timelines, budget information the customer chooses to share, appointments, messages, photographs, measurements, communication history, and the outcome of customer interactions. CS1 may use these details to manage inquiries, assess whether a project fits our services, prepare next steps, support staff, and maintain its business records. This processing remains subject to the existing restrictions on third-party sharing and mobile-information marketing contained in this Policy; providing information to a vendor acting only for CS1 is not permission for that vendor to market independently to you.
- Call and Message Records. CS1 may maintain communications metadata, messages, call summaries, and transcripts for customer service, quality assurance, scheduling, accurate project records, and compliance. If an audio recording is used, CS1 will provide any notice and obtain any recording consent required by applicable law. Audio recordings are not implied to occur on every call.
- Human Assistance and Decisions. A customer may request assistance from a CS1 team member. AI assistants may help collect facts and suggest project next steps but do not, by themselves, issue binding prices, contractual promises, technical determinations, or changes to an executed agreement. The existing disclosure about automated decision-making remains in effect.
- Communication Preferences and Withdrawal of Consent. You may tell CS1 or its AI assistant not to call or message you, ask to speak with a person, or withdraw a previously granted communication authorization through any reasonable available method. You may call 971-217-0257 or email contactus@cs1realinteriors.com. For SMS messages, you may reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to opt out, or HELP for assistance, consistent with the existing Messaging Terms. CS1 will honor applicable opt-out and do-not-contact requests as required by law. A request to stop AI calls will not be treated as permission to continue AI calls through a different system.
- Consent Records and Future Policy Changes. Where consent is obtained, CS1 may maintain relevant records such as the stated authorization, form or lead source, date and time, contact number, and applicable disclosure version to document what the customer agreed to. Updates to this Policy apply prospectively as required by law; they do not automatically authorize artificial-voice or automated calls to people who have not granted the legally necessary consent.
11. Additional Clarification About Service Providers and Mobile Data
CS1’s use of a communications platform, hosting provider, CRM, automation service, or AI technology provider to perform services on CS1’s behalf does not change our existing commitments against selling, renting, or sharing mobile information with third parties for their independent marketing or promotional purposes without explicit consent. The data-sharing limitations in Section 4 and the “No Sharing of Mobile Information” provision below remain fully applicable.
12. Privacy and Communications Contact
For privacy questions, AI-communication questions, communication preferences, or a request for human assistance, contact CS1 Real Interiors Inc. at contactus@cs1realinteriors.com or 971-217-0257. Our mailing address is 2900 SE Cornelius Pass Rd, Suite 762, Hillsboro, OR 97123.
These AI communications provisions take effect when published. They supplement, and do not replace, the other sections of this Policy or any separately presented consent disclosure.
